Egypt 360°: From the Giza Pyramids to the Red Sea
The trip in a nutshell
A trip to Egypt is a journey back in time to uncover one of the world's oldest civilizations: a dry and desert land made rich and fertile by the Nile River, where the kingdom of Ancient Egypt thrived. We'll feel like little Indiana Joneses as we explore ancient pyramids and tombs, from Luxor to Abu Simbel and the iconic Pyramids of Giza. What will truly amaze us is how these magnificent structures have survived the slow passage of time, enduring wars, looting, and abandonment to reach us today, allowing us to still marvel at their splendor.
Our group adventure begins in Cairo, where the famous Giza Pyramids and the iconic Sphinx tower over the modern skyline of the capital. Right from the start, we’ll feel like we’re stepping into an ancient history book. Heading south, we’ll uncover tombs, monuments, and necropolises preserved by rock and sand for centuries. In Aswan, we’ll stand in awe of the monumental Ramses statues at Abu Simbel, while in Luxor, we’ll delve into the vast Karnak temple complex and the Valley of the Kings, the majestic resting place of rulers from the Old Kingdom of Egypt.
Before heading back to Cairo, we’ll enjoy a relaxing day in Hurghada, where we can dive into its crystal-clear waters for 24 hours of well-deserved relaxation. Egypt will take us back to school, but this time, we won't be learning history from books – we’ll be exploring these incredible and ancient wonders of humanity firsthand.
