"TRIP CANCELLATION" OPTION
This "Information Note" is intended to provide the Tourist (natural or legal person who subscribes and requires the option of "Cancel Trip", all the preliminary information necessary in order to arrive at the rights and obligations to activate the option. This note is written in English, without prejudice to the tourist's right to request its drafting in another language.
1. Flexible cancellation
Travellers have the option to purchase a Flexible Cancellation for a fee of £79 for trips below £1000 and £99 for trips above £1000. This allows for cancellation up to 8 days before departure.
If the Traveller has not purchased the Flexible Cancellation:
If the trip is cancelled 31 days or more before departure, the traveller is entitled to a full refund of the basic booking. If the trip is cancelled 30 days or less before departure, the traveller is not entitled to any refund.
If the Traveller has purchased the Flexible Cancellation:
The traveller may cancel up to 8 days before departure for a full refund of the basic booking.
2. Definitions
2.1. Tourist: the person requesting the option "FLEXIBLE CANCELLATION" in case of a natural person, the adult subject with the ability to act or underage with a declaration signed by the parent /legal guardian.
2.2. Event: The occurrence that generated, directly the cancellation request.
2.3. Family member: the spouse, children, father, mother, brothers, sisters, grandparents, in-laws, genders, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, uncles, first cousins, grandchildren of the participant, as well as how many others with him cohabiting, provided that they result from regular certification.
2.4. Travel: the trip, stay or rental, resulting from the relevant contract or travel document.
2.5. Pre-established group: two or more people making a reservation jointly.
2.6. Basic booking: the price per person referring to each tourist package sold on the www.WeRoad.co.uk . This price does not include any additional costs that can be selected when purchasing the tour package.
3. Common rules
3.1. Operation and start-up. The coverage of the option expressly subscribed through the booking form to the trip advertised on the www.weroad.co.uk is operating:
3.1.1. for trips made for tourist purposes;
3.1.2.from the hours and day indicated in the booking confirmation. As a reference for the recurrence WeRoad UK Ltd uses the Time Zone of Rome (UTC/GMT +1). The guarantee lapses to the use of the first contractually agreed service;
3.1.3. in the case of a natural person;
3.1.4. if the Tourist is of age and has the ability to act;
3.1.5. if the trip was paid for.
3.1.6. if stipulated by WeRoad UK Ltd as the organizer of the trip;
3.1.7. if stipulated at the same time as the date of booking of the trip;
3.1.8. if stipulated as a guarantee of the basic reservation;
3.1.9. if stipulated for a maximum capital of € 5,000.00 per practice.
Failure to pay the above sums, on the dates set, shall constitute an express termination clause such as to determine, by the intermediary agency and/or the organizer, the resolution of the law.
4. People who can take advantage of the "FLEXIBLE CANCELLATION" option
The coverage of the option expressly signed through the travel booking form advertised on the www.weroad.co.uk site is operating only against subjects with legal capacity at the time of subscription. In case of booking through "pre-established group" the cancellation option operates only towards the subjects for whom this option has been selected.
5. In case of withdrawal and activation of the "FLEXIBLE CANCELLATION" option
5.1. The Tourist or those who decide to exercise the "TRIP CANCELLATION" option must notify WeRoad UK Ltd according to the provisions of the individual guarantees, promptly on the day of the occurrence. Failure to fulfill this obligation may result in the total or partial loss of the right to compensation;
5.2. WeRoad UK Ltd pays refunds in Pound Sterling (GBP).
5.3. Expenditure outside the Pound Sterling (GBP) countries shall be converted at the official exchange rate on the day on which they were incurred.
