Itinerary - Sicily Beach Life: from San Vito to the Egadi Islands

Roundtrip flights are not included so that you can choose where from, when and with whom you want to fly. All of that is up to you!

Welcome to Trapani, Sicily! After checking in at the hotel, we’ll freshen up and head out for our first Sicilian dinner. Sicily is renowned for its delicious food, and we certainly won’t be shy about indulging. Let’s kick off this adventure in style!

Today, we’ll pick up the cars that will accompany us on our journey over the next few days. We’ll hit the road right away, heading toward the sea! Along the Sicilian West Coast, Our first stop has to be the beach, and we have plenty of options to choose from. It’s time to put on our swimsuits and take our first dip in the Sicilian sea!

Today, we’ll head north and arrive at the port of San Vito Lo Capo, where we take a boat to the Zingaro Nature Reserve, one of the most famous, beautiful, and unspoiled natural areas in all of Sicily. The beaches here are actually hidden coves made of pebbles and rocks, where the sea shows off its best side: the water is so clear and turquoise that it will be hard not to take a dip! Want a little spoiler? Search for Cala della Capreria or Cala Marinella on Google, and you’ll get an idea of what we’re talking about!

Around lunchtime, we’ll return to San Vito, but don’t worry: the sea and the beach are the common threads of all our days here in Sicily! So, this afternoon, the waves are calling us again.

We can stop at the old Tonnara or choose from the many coves in the area—perhaps we’ll stay until sunset before heading back to Trapani. What do you think?

Today we head towards Erice, that embraces the splendour and charm, traditions and stories of the past, beauty and wonder: you breathe all this in as you walk through the streets of Erice, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.

For lunch time we will head to Marsala, where we will have the opportunity to explore the city, learn its story and be part of an incredible cooking class, where we will discover local traditions and flavours.

All of this before visiting the famous salt pans that at sunset create a magical and unforgettable landscape!

Today, we leave Trapani behind. We say goodbye to the mainland and head... to another island! We’ll board the ferry that takes us to Favignana, part of the Egadi Archipelago. Favignana is shaped like a butterfly and is easy to explore by bike. That’s exactly what we’ll do: we’ll rent bicycles, hop on, and set off to explore the island!

Just like the rest of Sicily, Favignana is dotted with hidden coves, perfect for our moments of beach relaxation. Let’s find the one that inspires us the most and once again, enjoy the sea!

Yesterday we explored Favignana by land, today it’s time to discover the beauty and hidden coves of Marettimo! We have a whole day ahead of us on the boat, sailing and searching for secluded coves accessible only by sea, covas that we’ll likely have all to ourselves if we’re lucky!

Let’s enjoy these moments among the waves while working on our tan; we want to return to the office and make all our colleagues envious!

This is our last day in the Egadi, and we have the freedom to choose how to make the most of it. We can stay in Favignana and discover more of the island, whether by land or by sea, or we can venture to the nearby island of Levanzo, the smallest and undoubtedly the wildest of the Egadi. Here, there are no cars, and the little over 200 residents get around on foot, by bike, or by boat.

Just like the rest of Sicily, Favignana is dotted with hidden coves, perfect for our moments of beach relaxation. Let’s find the one that inspires us the most and once again enjoy the sea!
