Itinerary - Philippines 360°: from Bohol to Coron via Palawan
Welcome to the Philippines
Check in
Round trip flights are not included in the package, so you can choose from where and when you want to fly. This is to give you maximum freedom of choice!
Upon your arrival in Manila and check-in at the hotel, we kick off the tour the best way possible – through food! The evening is all about making new friends, and what better way to bond with your fellow travelers than by gathering around the table to savour local delicacies? You might want to try "adobo," a delightful chicken and pork stew, and consider adding a side of "ukoy," a prawn and sweet potato pancake. Let's not forget to raise a glass in a toast, marking the start of our fantastic Philippine adventure!

Bohol: Paradise Beaches
Manila and Alona Beach
The alarm will ring early this morning, but for a great reason: we're catching a flight to Bohol! The journey begins, and so does the adventure. Get ready for a perfect mix of relaxation, beach, sun, and sea!
This island is famous for its white sand beaches, lined with palm trees and surrounded by the turquoise sea. It feels like stepping into a travel magazine, but no—it’s real! This afternoon is ours to enjoy at our own pace, depending on our arrival time (which may vary due to flight availability). Tonight, we’ll stay on Panglao Island, known for its beautiful beaches like Alona Beach and its vibrant local scene. We can cap the day with dinner at one of the fish markets, soaking in the authentic island vibe.

Bohol: Chocolate Hills and Tarsidi
An immersion in nature
Today is all about choosing what you’d most like to do. Our recommendation? Take a break from the beach and visit the famous Chocolate Hills. No, they aren’t edible! These more than a thousand hills turn brown in the autumn, resembling chocolate, while in the rainy season they turn a vibrant green. The hills remain a mystery, untouched by humans, with no trees or shrubs growing on their slopes, standing out against the lush forests below.
At the base of the hills, you’ll find another iconic symbol of the Philippines: the tarsiers! These tiny primates with their large, bright yellow eyes are usually active at night, but if we’re lucky enough to spot them during the day, it’s important to be quiet and avoid touching them—they’re sensitive and easily stressed.
Whether you spend your day exploring the Chocolate Hills and seeing the tarsiers, or choose activities like diving or snorkeling, we’ll return to Panglao for another relaxing evening before heading to our next destination.

Puerto Princesa: Sabang Subterranean River National Park
One of the 7 wonders of the natural world
This morning, we're full of energy and heading straight to Sabang, a small town tucked between the jungle and the ocean. Ready for something extraordinary? We’ve got just the thing—the Underground River National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the longest navigable underground river in the world at 8 km. We’ll hop on a boat and cruise inside, passing monkeys and lizards at the entrance, ready to be amazed by the stunning karst landscapes formed over thousands of years. It’s truly indescribable—you have to see it for yourself!
After lunch, we’ll head to our next destination: Port Barton. This charming spot, where the sand crunches under your feet, is perfect for relaxing. Let’s settle in, grab a drink, and enjoy the sunset over Pagdanan Bay.

But the real adventure begins tonight: we’ll camp out in tents on a pristine beach, surrounded by nature (did someone say plankton?). If the sky is clear and the moon is right, we’ll fall asleep under a spectacular starry sky. What more could we ask for?

El Nido, a charming village in northern Palawan, is our next stop, serving as the gateway to the breathtaking Bacuit archipelago. This paradise boasts crystal-clear waters surrounded by lush jungle, and it will be our haven for the next couple of days, so we can relish all it has to offer.
As the day gives way to a stunning sunset, El Nido's bars and restaurants spring to life. So, let's grab a cocktail and relish a beachfront party!

From El Nido to Coron
From island to island
Our time in El Nido has come to an end, and it's time to bid farewell as we make our way to Coron, where we'll spend the final days of our remarkable Philippine adventure. As seasoned travellers, we know the drill: another day, another paradise waiting to be explored.
The Calamian Island chain, situated off the northern coast of Palawan, is our next destination. With our base on the main island of Busuanga, we're perfectly positioned to discover these gems.
A short boat ride of around three hours takes us to Coron Island, home to the Tagbanua indigenous group and two stunningly beautiful lakes, Kayangan and Barracuda. Our cameras will be busy capturing these dreamlike landscapes!

Money pot: any extra activities, hotel/port transfer

Coron: Kayangan Lake or Barracuda?
Lakes and Lagoons
Today, the choice is yours as we explore the natural wonders of Coron Island. Do you want to visit Kayangan Lake, Barracuda Lake, or maybe both? Coron Island is a showcase of nature at its finest.
In Coron, there are only two lakes open to the public, as an indigenous tribe protects the island as their ancestral domain and keeps tourists at a distance. These two lakes are Kayangan Lake and Barracuda Lake.
Kayangan Lake stands out as the island's most popular destination, and rightfully so. Its pristine reef and crystal-clear waters are simply mesmerizing. To reach the lake, we'll "park" the boat and embark on a climb up several stairs to a panoramic viewpoint. After taking in the stunning vistas, we'll descend to the famous lake.
While Lake Kayangan tends to steal the spotlight, Lake Barracuda is its less-frequented sibling, which means more fun and fewer rules. Moreover, Lake Barracuda's waters are even clearer than those of Lake Kayangan. It's a paradise waiting to be explored!
Included: overnight stay
Money pot: any extra activities

Black Island adventure
Caving and Cliff Jumping
We wanted our last day in Coron to be an unforgettable, unique, and special experience, so we've chosen Black Island! Black Island has it all: pristine beaches for sunbathing, a vast coral reef for snorkelling, and caves and reefs for thrilling adventures.
Despite its name, the island isn't actually black; it earned its name from the black limestone rocks that adorn the area. Rest assured, the beaches boast beautiful, fine white sand. Officially, it goes by the name Malajon Island, but we won't spoil the surprises of this day. Just know that it promises to be fun and adventurous!
Included: overnight stay, private transfers and excursion to Black Island with dinner/barbecue included
Money pot: any extra activities
Not included: any other meals and drinks
Let's go back to Manila

As our final morning in Coron unfolds, we soak up the sun, sea, and sand, knowing it's time to bid this paradise farewell. During our flight back to Manila, let's make sure to glance out of the window for one last glimpse of our newfound favourite place in the world.
Upon landing in the capital, we're hoping to find the time for a leisurely stroll around Little Tokyo or Intramuros, the historic heart of the city. As the curtain falls on this magnificent adventure, our last evening in Manila will be spent in one of the city's rooftop bars, savouring every moment with our newfound friends.
