Welcome to Sestriere
Check-in: our adventure begins... on the ski slopes!
Round trip flights are not included in the package, so you can choose from where and when you want to fly. This is to give you maximum freedom of choice! To reach Sestriere, you will first need to fly into Turin.
Getting to Sestriere by public transport is very simple:
By bus: A direct bus service runs between Turin and Sestriere during the ski season. Buses depart from the Turin Bus Terminal at Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, with the journey taking around 2 hours. It’s recommended to check the timetable and book tickets in advance, especially on weekends or during peak season.
By train and bus: If you prefer to travel by train, you can take a regional train from Turin Porta Nuova or Porta Susa to Oulx, a town in the Susa Valley. From Oulx, a bus will take you to Sestriere. The train journey is about 1 hour, and the bus ride from Oulx to Sestriere takes approximately 45 minutes.
The meeting point will be at the hotel, and the trip officially begins at 6:00 PM. However, those arriving early in the morning can immediately enjoy a day of skiing on the slopes alongside their new adventure companions. The coordinator will provide the exact meeting details a few days prior to departure.

The Vialattea ski area
Adrenaline and relaxation in the Alps
Welcome to Sestriere, one of the top ski destinations in the Alps and part of the legendary Vialattea ski area! Get ready to hit the slopes because today is going to be an unforgettable day! Our adventure begins across 400 km of slopes – a true paradise for every type of skier.
Beginners, don’t worry: there are wide, well-groomed blue slopes to help you ease into the snow.
For those feeling more confident, try the red slopes that wind between the mountains, offering breathtaking views.
And for the advanced skiers, challenge yourself on the black slopes, like the famous Colle descent, which has hosted World Cup races and the 2006 Turin Olympic Games.
The vast Vialattea ski area connects places like Sauze d'Oulx, Sansicario, and Claviere, all accessible via modern lifts and well-groomed slopes. This gives you the freedom to explore different routes throughout the day. For those into snowboarding or freestyle, Sestriere also boasts a super fun snowpark where you can test your skills!
After a few hours of skiing, we’ll take a break in one of the cozy mountain huts on the slopes. Enjoy a coffee or hot chocolate while soaking in the spectacular mountain views, or indulge in some typical Piedmontese dishes, like polenta or gnocchi al formaggio.
In the evening, the town of Sestriere awaits. Although small, it’s lively! After a day on the slopes, we can unwind by strolling through the town center, exploring local shops, or enjoying an aperitivo at a bar in perfect Italian style.
And this is just the first day of many fantastic adventures in Sestriere: skiing, delicious food, and plenty of adrenaline await!

A day to remember!
Ready for another day of adventure? Today we’re skiing, but with a delicious twist! We’ll start with a few runs on the Vialattea, which we know well by now, and aim for something more challenging, like the Kandahar Banchetta slope or the exhilarating runs connecting Sestriere to Sauze d'Oulx. Perfect snow, breathtaking views, and tons of fun await!
After the morning’s adrenaline rush, it’s time to answer the call of food! Mid-morning, we’ll stop at a mountain refuge to recharge. The menu? Impossible to resist a hearty portion of polenta concia with cheese and sausage, or the classic gnocchi alla toma, made with mouth-watering local toma cheese.
After lunch, we’ll take some time to relax: sunbathing, a cup of mulled wine or hot chocolate in hand, and the Alps as our stunning backdrop. Don’t forget to snap some photos for Instagram! In the afternoon, we can decide whether to continue exploring the slopes of Sansicario or Claviere, or simply unwind a bit longer with a sweet snack at another refuge. Perhaps a slice of hazelnut cake or a creamy chocolate dessert? We’ve definitely earned this break!
The day wraps up in style with a typical dinner at one of Sestriere's restaurants. We can’t leave without trying bagna cauda or braised beef in Barolo. And to top it off, dessert: indulge in cuneesi with rum or a slice of bonet for the perfect finish. Top-notch food, amazing skiing, and fantastic company—Sestriere is truly spoiling us!
