Let's start with a bang!

Right after breakfast, we'll embark on an unforgettable visit to one of the United States' most iconic parks: the Grand Canyon, a marvel that rivals even Yellowstone. The first feeling that hits you when you see the Grand Canyon is pure amazement. The vastness of the canyon, its immense depth, and the towering, multicoloured cliffs make us feel incredibly small in the face of nature's grandeur.

We'll start our adventure at Mather Point, a popular spot offering breathtaking panoramic views that stretch for miles. As we stand on the edge, the sheer scale of the canyon, with its layers of red rock formations carved by the Colorado River over millions of years, will leave us speechless. From here, we'll move on to Powell Point, a dramatic rock peninsula that offers a different perspective of the canyon's beauty. From this vantage point, we can observe both major and minor rapids, hearing the powerful roar of the water beneath us.

Throughout the day, we'll encounter hidden gems, from secluded overlooks to vibrant rock formations that change colour with the shifting sunlight. Whether you're an avid hiker, a photography enthusiast, or simply someone who appreciates nature's raw beauty, the Grand Canyon offers something for everyone.

Hunting for hoodoos

Bryce isn’t exactly a canyon but rather a collection of horseshoe-shaped amphitheaters. The highlight of our visit will be the Bryce Amphitheater, the largest and most iconic formation at the heart of the area. Here, we'll be surrounded by hoodoos—striking, spire-like rock formations sculpted by water, wind, and ice. These natural wonders create a nearly magical landscape, and we’ll have the chance to immerse ourselves by strolling along trails that lead us to the valley floor.

There's a legend that these hoodoos are actually ancient mythical beings turned to stone by Coyotes as punishment for their misdeeds. So if you happen to see any rocks shifting, don’t be alarmed!
