WeRoad Coordinators

The best travel companions you could wish for

Who are the WeRoad Coordinators and what do they do?

WeRoad Coordinators are passionate travelers who will help you get the most out of your travel experience. Think of a coordinator as that friend who takes care of organizing everything, keeping track of schedules, making sure you book excursions and activities, suggesting places to eat, and, in the meantime, keeping everyone's spirits up. Well, that's exactly what a WeRoad Coordinator is: the best travel companion you could wish for.

Before departure

When the Coordinator is assigned to your trip, you will be able to find his/her phone number in your MyWeRoad Personal Area. About 15 days before departure, the Coordinator will create the WhatsApp group to provide you and the rest of the group with information about the trip and the extra activities and excursions that you can do.

During your trip

Once you leave, the Coordinator takes care of the logistics of the trip, checking in at hotels, making sure transfers are on time, and all the other boring things that go with traveling. He or she is also responsible for and manages the Money Pot, which is usually collected on the first day in local currency, and makes sure everyone enjoys the trip to the fullest.

After the trip

And once you get home? The hardest part of every trip is saying goodbye, but don't worry: you can continue to hear from your travel companions in the WhatsApp group and maybe organize some Reunions to see you all again. And who knows, you could set off on a new WeRoad with the same Coordinator who accompanied you on the previous one!

FAQs

What is a WeRoad Coordinator?

The WeRoad Coordinator is a skilled traveler with experience and will be the perfect travel companion: he will be available in case of any eventuality and will have to manage all the logistical issues (travel, timetables, facilities, meeting points, etc.) so you can enjoy the trip without worries! You will have the opportunity to meet them in the WhatsApp group that is created about 15 days before departure : it will be the time to ask all the pre-departure questions and get to know the rest of the group better!

How is a WeRoad Coordinator selected?

To become a WeRoad Coordinator, you must apply through an online form , sending a video that is evaluated by our A&C Team (Ambassador & Coordinators). You then move on to a second phase, the online Group Interview , and finally to the third and final, the Bootcamp , two days of full immersion in the WeRoad world. In these two phases, aspiring Coordinators are put to the test on the different aspects of managing a trip - from problem solving of cases that actually happened during our shifts, to how to best manage the common fund.
