An adventure to Bali

Explore Indonesia's most famous island and meet new people

Connecting with the world in person on Thursday, and any other day of the week with WeRoad.

Both Thursday and WeRoad bring people together to create connections between them - real connections, you know, the kind that you only get when experiencing something together. So since we like the old school approach of actually talking to each other, we created the exclusive WeRoadxThursday Bali trip, an 8-day deep-dive to Indonesia's most popular island. Our itinerary will take you from the jungle and rice fields of Ubud to the beaches and clubs of Seminyak and Kuta; letting you meet new people and make new friends.

What will you do in Bali?

Nature: Mount Batur and rice fields

Bali is a little heaven on earth for those who love nature and adventure: on day 2, we explore the Jatiluwih rice fields, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and on day 3 we'll get the chance to experience the famous Bali swing before going on a little hike to reach the Sekumpul Waterfall. We don't miss on adrenaline either: on day 4, we beat the sun to trek Mount Batur, and on day 5, we head to the Ayung River for an exciting morning of white water rafting.

Culture: Temples and Cuisine

The main religion in Bali is Hinduism, which is clear once we see the sheer number of temples on this little island. These places of worship are astounding, so we won't miss out on visiting Ulun Danu Bratan on Lake Bratan, Uluwatu on the Bukit Peninsula, and the famous Tirta Empul, with its purification ritual. Food is also central to Bali's culture so on day 6, we'll take a cooking class with local cooks, to learn how to make traditional Balinese dishes.

Beach and Party: Seminyak and Kuta

What's Bali without a bit of party? While Ubud may be more spiritual, Seminyak and Kuta will let us experience the party side of the island. On day 6 we head south where we can try our hand at surfing, or we can choose to relax on the beach with a cocktail. On day 7 we'll enjoy the chill vibes of Seminyak, and experience Balinese nightlife; btw, La Favela is the place to go (you'll see why!).
